Although, these interesting concepts are unable to win a award, still they are worth a watch. Yael Miller has proposed an interesting concept of a piece of the piezoelectric pie. This idea was also featured in the article of Daniela Morell.
According to this concept, we can store used energy for future use. Its major source wil be the electricity in use of any physical activity, such as vacuum cleaner. Its back and forth motion is able to generate little amount of piezoelectric or hydraulic energy. It can effectively power emergency flashlight.
