Eco Arts: Mobile live/work space created from discarded materials

Eco Factor: Mixed-use space created from office waste.

Creating functional pieces of art from items that no one bothers to give a second look at is what artists Antoine Morris and David Long believe in doing. The duo has created The Mobile Office from waste materials found within a one-block radius of their office.

The self-contained space can be used both as an office and a living area. The discarded materials with which the office has been made was transported by bikes and the only material that is new in the design is the hardware that holds the recycled stuff together.

The sleeping platform can be raised or lowered depending on the use. The Mobile Office also features shelving and a work area, the positions of which can also be adjusted. More shelving or platforms can be added within the compact space.
