Eco Factor: Sculptures made from recycled materials grace art show.

We all know that with a gift of skill and patience, junked items can be prevented from entering the landfill and hence polluting the environment by converting them into artwork, which most would admire. The Love London Green Festival was one occasion when artists from around the globe displayed their talent. The Recycled Sculpture Show that was one of the highlights of the show is still on and will continue till next April.

The show was house to the works of some two dozen artists, which were on display at the 42-hectare wildfowl reserve. The displayed sculptures are made principally from recycled materials and reflect environmental issues.

The choice of the materials depends on the mindset of the artists. While some have crafted crocodiles from tires, there are others who have created sci-fi characters from plastic bags.
