Eco Factor: Zero-emission supercar runs on batteries.

Electric Cars of Springfield (ECOS) has recently unveiled its all-electric supercar at SEMA 2009. The Lamborghini-styled Harbinger™ is designed to reach a speed of 60mph in just 5 seconds and has an electronically-imposed limit of 117mph.

The vehicle is equipped with an 11” Netgain DC motor that gets powered by a 30KWh lithium-ion battery, which is claimed to be good enough for a 150 mile range. The company thinks that the unique styling of the vehicle will make people part with $89,995 and is now accepting reservations for a limited edition production scheduled to start in February.
