Eco Cars: Myers’ facelift of the NMG Sparrow makes the car look way better

Eco Factor: Zero-emission car designed to run on an electric engine.

Ohio-based Myers Motors have showcased a fully redesigned NMG Sparrow electric vehicle that offers users a little more style in a zero-emission package. The initial vehicle was good as its performance was concerned, but its huge looks pulled things down as it thought more to be an eyesore than a green machine with great performance.

The company turned to solve the problem and have come up with a much better looking vehicle they call the NMG2. The vehicle still packs the same engine that propels it to a top speed of 75mph, but still does just 60 miles on a recharge.

The three-wheeled vehicle can be recharged on a conventional 110V plug, but the operating range and the time it requires for a recharge makes it nothing more than a vehicle you’ll love to ride for a trip to the nearest supermarket.
