Eco Factor: Zero-emission car designed to run on electricity.

A 14-member team of young scientists at the Khaje Nasir Toosi University of Technology in Tehran have developed Iran’s first two-seat electric car, dubbed “Qasedak-e Nasir.” The team worked on the project for 10 months, after which their car achieved decent speed and range for urban use.

The car has been made from steel (aluminum would have been better), and is powered by rechargeable batteries. The 700kg car has a top speed of 80kph and an operating range of about 50km in city driving mode.
