EcoFactor: Collaboration to promote green living.

HOK, a global architectural firm, just announced the formation of an alliance with the Biomimicry Guild to assimilate green buildings, communities and cities worldwide. Biomimicry, the top-most premier bio-inspired innovation company, studies nature’s best ideas and creates designs to promote a sustainable living. Biomimicry has inspired numerous commercial products and individual building projects, and the new alliance between the Biomimicry Guild and HOK has the potential to dramatically expand its scale and impact. HOK contributed to the development of the U.S. Green Building Council’s original LEED rating system. I personally think such mergers come as a ray of hope during the growing environment crisis.

The Dark Side:
Such a joint venture is what our world needs; through this not only do we get stylishly crafted designs but they are also developed keeping the environment in mind. Hence, I fail to see a demerit on this alliance!
