Easy Energy has launched a new green charger that doesn’t depend on the climate but lets you charge everything from cellphones to GPS devices using your own energy.
Dubbed YoGen, the palm-size device carries a ripcord, which when pulled repeatedly makes the internal alternator create enough energy to charge your portable electronics. The company claims that just a few minutes of pull/release time lets you charge various devices. Costing $39.99, you can choose between models with Apple and miniUSB tips or LG, Sony Ericsson, Nokia and microUSB tips.
