This Eco Mouse has a small green button that has the word “ECO” inscribed across; pressing it will automatically put your computer into stand-by mode. Calculations can be performed concerning the total saving done in CO2, energy and money using a computer program, and our contribution to the environment can be viewed easily.

It definitely sounds like an innovative idea but has a certain element of risk attached to it because if someone accidentally presses the button while working with the mouse the programs might just crash suddenly. It is reasonably priced at £15.66.
