Eco Factor: Solar-powered watch by Nixon.

Nixon has launched a new range of ecofriendly watches, dubbed Volta, that harness the light to charge its built-in battery. The watch features a semi-transparent dial that allows sunlight to pass through and hit the solar panels underneath.

We’re sure that the semi-transparent dial would mean that the watch would take hours or even days of sunlight to reach a full charge, but the good news is that you don’t have to stand in the sun for that much time as the watch is designed to harness any light source that includes lights in your office or your bedroom as well.
