Eco Factor: Hand drier and cleaner powered by solar energy.

Will our homes and the products we use today be the same after a few decades? Ask any creative product designer and the answer will be a screaming “No.” Forget the future of the gadgets we’re so accustomed to, even our clothes will be dramatically influenced by this upsurge of technology and might end up generating electricity for our gadgets or even our homes. China-based industrial designers Jiang Qian and Chen Feijun have envisioned the future of hand driers in a product they call the Solar-powered Drier and Cleaner.

Unlike the hand driers of today, the Solar-powered Drier and Cleaner will not just dry your hands but also disinfect them, thereby eliminating the need of soap to wash your hands. After drying your hands with a solar-powered fan and heating element system, the drier and cleaner will disinfect your hands using an ozone generator that will also be powered by the solar panels installed on the rear of the system. We’re sure that the system will not reach the production line in the near future, but if you believe in rebirth, you might actually use it.
