Eco Factor: Kitchen made from recycled materials.

Milestone Eco Design has crafted UK’s first kitchen that is made entirely of recycled materials that includes yogurt pots and coffee mugs preventing them from reaching the landfill to pollute natural resources. The kitchen is great for those who want to offset the waste produced by their love for yogurt and coffee.

The company claims that over 700 yogurt pots are used in the making of the cabinets. The worktops are also works of recycled plastic art that is generated by collecting post-consumer vending machine coffee cups. The cabinets are partially made from recycled wood chips, the sink utilizes recycled steel.

Other than the use of recycled materials in the making, the kitchen is also designed to be illuminated by energy-efficient lamps, which use up to 7W of power.
