Demand for eco-friendly gadgets is of utmost importance in today’s world. Hence, Lenovo’s recently unveiled Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT) Gold-rated monitor is a pleasant welcome. EPEAT is nothing but a system that evaluates products based on certain environmental requirements. In this case, the ThinkVision L193p monitor met all the vital criteria to earn the EPEAT Gold status.
The 19-inch monitor’s 160/160 degree viewing angle, high contrast ratio, five millisecond response time and support for high bandwidth digital content protection and analog and DVI-D signals provide users an enhanced viewing experience with a stand that delivers flexibility for positioning the display. Not just that, this monitor also is the first product in the EPEAT record to use post-consumer recycled contents in its plastic parts. Bravo, Lenovo!
The Dark Side:
I don’t see a flaw to this gadget. In fact, I think the move made by Lenovo will be a benchmark for the other PC makers, which is just what our world needs.
