Therefore, the U.S. 3rd Army Special Forces, in collaboration with Range Systems, have developed an eco-friendly high round capacity trap. The Encapsulator granular rubber bullet trap is made up of recycled rubber and can be used both for indoor and outdoor training. It helps in recovering the bullets fired for further recycling.
Further, it solves the hazardous problems associated with mining sand, bullet fragments and dust created by traditional steel traps. Granulated rubber and steel make it virtually safer and set soldiers free from concerns regarding ricochets, splatter or airborne lead. The trap is meant to provide a high-volume shooting environment with low cost maintenance.
