Latest In Alternative Fuel - Electricity from Soy Bean Oil

An Ohio based firm, Technology Management, Inc. has invented, the very first kilowatt sized solid oxide fuel cell system that generates electricity from soy bean oil.

What the skeptics say may not gel with that the vegans as, the soy is a substitute for non vegetarian food for many. But this new development is definitely good for the fuel cell industry as there is an evergrowing need for electricity around the world. This may stand along with other forms alternative energy sources.

USDA Biomass Initiative Program, the Ohio Soybean Council and Ohio’s Third Frontier Project have all contributed to this project.
