Filterbrella - Umbrella that filters water
Somya | May 26 2008

Saving rain water is one of the most traditional methods for water conservation and with the rising desperation to employ eco-friendly techniques any and everywhere possible, here is another idea that’s doing the rounds. No wonder we love when the rain trickles down the canopy of our umbrellas on rainy days and strike a connection between us and the beautiful nature. You might want to do this with a difference in near future for Filterbrella will refine and store the water that falls onto the canopy with the help of an innovative activated carbon filter in its hollow rod. So, if you are sharing the umbrella with a special someone, the pure and portable water is nothing short of a souvenir and if not, well, you are doing yourself and the mother earth a huge favor!

Thats a crazy idea! holding an ordinary umbrella during the rain is a tough job and i guess one would need all the muscle power of our desi wwe hero- Khali to hold that water loaded umbrella.i would prefer to drink the rain drops instead.
