McDonalds likes to keep it real green these days

Who said it’s not easy to get a point across? The world renowned fast food chain McDonald’s has definitely proved all those people wrong with their innovative green billboard and taken freshness into a new level.

Roping in the best ad agency Leo Burnett for the task was indeed an icing on the cake for them. It’s unusual to grow veggies on billboards but that’s exactly what they did. Growing REAL lettuce over time to form the words “Fresh Salad” was indeed splendid.

End result being, message well delivered.

Innovative. But i personally think its a waste of lettuce. Locusts, disease and not to mention being exposed to city pollution. Using organic dyes would be a better idea.
