Hybrids – cars that run on two or more engine technologies, but are they as simple to define? I guess no, a Swiss company known as Mindset is trying to improve what hybrids can do in the future with their new design known as the E-Motion. E-Motion is mainly the brain child of former Volkswagen chief designer Murat Guenak, and it’s because of him that the car bears some distinct VW features.
The E-Motion gets its power from lithium-ion batteries that can be recharged in three different ways. Not only the batteries recharge themselves via a 24 hp motor that provides you with an additional 100-km range, but the car can also be plugged in to a wall socket and if both the above methods fail then don’t worry as this amazing car also comes with solar panels on its rear-quarters for on-the-move charging.
Mindset has also stated that the company will be ready to prepare 10,000 E-Motion’s by the next year at a price of 50,000 Euros. Check out the video below to catch the E-motion in its Aluminum casing.
