Redoing your pavement? Think permeable pavers
Anupam | Jul 30 2007

Come rains and the pavements are perpetually rife with running water. To my deepest embarrassment, I’ve slipped more than once under such circumstances. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if water were not to remain on the surface and just vanish instead?

Well, this is for all those who want to renovate their driveways after the rains. If you want to prevent some environment damage and the headlights of your car then it’s better to use permeable pavers instead of solid concrete.

Permeable pavers are eco-friendly because holes between them allow the rain water to slowly infiltrate into the ground rather than creating a fast runoff into the local waterways that can cause damage.
These holes won’t make the driveway too difficult for you to drive or just walk on it, but a simple way to add some more green to your home.
