Now for the ones who want to take a glimpse of something different, here is your chance! Through the three weeks of an annual event in Sydney, Australia, Sculptures by the Sea, traversing Bondi to Tamarama coastline, some very intriguing sculptures were posed for the world to see! Over 18 countries participated in this event and put together a show of over 100 sculptures thereby making it Australia’s largest annual outdoor public exhibition of sculpture free for public view!
Two masterpieces can be seen here, the one above is what they call Broken Family by Anthony Haywood that uses all the household waste to construct an elephant and the one below is an Anemone by Time Ferrier who made geometric designs using street signs that would have gone into the dumpster had they not been showcased at such a prestigious event.
Now here is some food for your eyes! The next time around you throw out garbage into the trash cans, take a second look, can anything out of the waste serve as a trunk of an elephant or say a triangle? Hold that thought tree-huggers!
