Recently, an Anglo-Spanish firm has introduced a solar powered vending machine. This vending machine can be easily positioned anywhere having sufficient amount of sunlight. To make things more accessible, Solar Energy Vending has also increased the number of locations.

But, SEV was facing a huge challenge to develop such a solar powered refrigeration system that will effectively keep food and drink cool in the machine. These solar panels will always keep the machine running, whereas rechargeable battery will offer power during night or cloudy season. Areas with less sunny climes may opt for wind turbine.

Since 2004, company is working hard on this very concept. These machines have been positioned all across the Spain. In other countries, it is looking for authentic distributors. These machines of SEV are also helpful in display advertising. According to EEC regulations, they will waive all the income taxes from the profits made by the machines, as they are using renewable source of energy.
