Solar powered Theremin, a godsend for the instrumentalists
Nithya N | Jun 18 2008

For those of you who don’t know what a Theremin is, let me quickly tell you a little bit about them. Pronounced as ‘teremin’, they are music instruments that work without being touched, consisting of antenna’s which sense the hand movement of the person. These instruments are usually associated with surreal and dreamy sounds.

However, thanks to innovative modders, we have a solar powered Theremin making a comeback with grand Altoid tins through which cacophonic sounds can be heard anywhere in abundant sunlight.
