Wyoming leads the world in Wind Power

The Watt has done a study of Wind Installations in every state in the United States.







Wyoming has 568 watts/person of wind power. Thus it narrowly beat out Denmark, the number 1 wind power generator in the world with 540 watts/person.



As far as how much wind each state uses as a percentage of their total energy use, Iowa leads with 2.17% wind power. Wyoming uses 1.96% wind power.
